The Man with the Machine Gun - Final Fantasy VIII (Lounge Jazz Chill Remix)

This is my entry for the February 2023 RMX Jam - a lounge jazz interpretation of Laguna's battle theme from one of my favourite childhood games, Final Fantasy VIII! 

I've previously done straight remix/remasters of old FF tracks for fun, but for this jam I decided to try to adapt one of FF8's best-loved tracks to something a little different. I like to imagine that after the game, Laguna goes back to the bar of the Galbadia Hotel and kicks back to this way more chilled take on his battle theme.
